THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hi all. Couldn't believe it today, phoned the hospital to be told that mum was off of the oxygen mask for a while, the hospital were going to try & give her a couple of hours, mask free, around meal times. Her nurse clinician said that mums oxygen levels were now 'stonking' (her words), she'd eaten a breakfast & had a good wash.

Yve went in at lunchtime & said that mum had ordered a roast beef dinner & actually eaten most of it & looked loads better & Gary went up this afternoon & said she looks 100% better. She did say to him 'I know why you were all here last night'.

So I've had a night off & Gary & I have been to the local theatre to see 'One Night of Queen'

Tomorrow a serious lie-in & some food shopping are on the cards before more hospital visiting. I was supposed to work tomorrow but luckily did someone a favour & worked last week for someone so he's doing my saturday this week. Loads of offers of help from work though.

Evening. I stayed in and knitted tonight! Oh and watched I'm a celebrity. If I was a bloke I'd fancy Ashley which is worrying because I'm not and shouldn't! Good Night.

When I first saw her I didn't think I'd like her but she seems very nice, not full of herself as I'd thought she would be.  I just want rid of Eric Bristow, I can't stand him!X-(

It's been lovely here today too. The forecast for tomorrow is horrendous. Lots of flooding around here too & with the rain tomorrow we didn't want to risk getting stuck.

What's it like this morning Maggie? It's not the gale predicted here, well not yet anyway.

Well a slight lie-in happened. Only disturbed by a very healthy, cheery, non- breathless voice ordering a bowl of fruit for this afternoon (insert smiley here 'cos my stupid phone won't let me)

Learning, go & enjoy. You need some 'me' time to recharge your batteries & give you the strength & energy for whatever lies ahead. I was belting Queen songs out at the theatre last night, gets a lot out of your system.xxx

Mags enjoy the show in Harrogate you deserve a day off :-x

Maggie sorry you're missing out today especially as you missed the last one too 😞

No wind or rain here but the most horrendous frost, everything is totally white and Mr Stan said the roads were awful at 6am.

Off to the cash & carry now as I have no wine left for this evening and CK if I had a doggie I would want him in antler ears for chrissy as I think they're fab 😄
