I love an open fire especially at christmas when I can do roast cheastnuts on the flat shovel.

Good job the regulars can keep secrets as am currently wrapping Master Nick's santa stocking..........I say every year that their all too old now but still make them all one .Even Mr stan gets one and he will be 60 on xmas eve :^O

OOhhh you said chestnuts on a open fire, I just love them, they never taste the same if you cook them another way..

Good morning! OH's birthday today so I've given him the day off and he has a friend coming round to extend our driveway because we have four cars now and the lawn is suffering as everyone pulls round each other on it. We are going to see 'Chess' tonight in Bognor. Not quite the West End but he loves the songs.

When I let Damson out at seven the sky was pale blue & pink. So pretty.:-) It's now rather grey.

Yes, he's being fine at the moment! I was a bit worried the weekend in London with his sons might upset him but he has been fine. Bit worried how he will feel when the eldest leaves for Australia on 5th with Oscar & Jess as there is obviously a strong possibility he may not see them again. As long as he stays healthy we can go and see them next year sometime.
