morning everyone, gawd, it's chilly here today frost on the car windscreen this morning OH said.

I got up at 5am and put in the washing....then I went back to bed and slept until 9.30am much better for getting things done at the moment.

oh guess what? I've swapped that zimmer frame for crutches!!:-D things are a lot easier.....good stuff.

Numptz...sod the home, get on the bus to my house, I need assistance:O

Huggles my hubby occasionally thrashes about in his sleep, I've had his elbow in my nose so many times X-(

we have a 5ft bed but last weekend we stayed in a Premier Inn & had what I'm sure was a 6ft one  😮

It was bliss ........ we didn't even have to touch each other :^O

I hope superking helps us. I've bought new sheets and mattress protectors but he says the kingsize duvet and sets will do! Going to make a point of hogging the duvet from the start so I can get a new one. (((((new duvet covers))))).

huggles, google 'just linen and/or dawsons dept store' - their sales for s.king are fantastic.  I've just ordered a new duvet set for the king, one for the sk and another sk fitted sheet - total £61.  They have all the good brands too.  I also got my bolster from them - I lie with my 'sore' leg, from sciatica on it.

I have just popped in to show you what i have been given today. I am like a child in a sweet shop. Several large boxes of sewing stuff, dating from the 1940s

oh rhubarb...they're fabulous...& coming back into fashion  :-x

There are two very large boxes, plus a large vintage suitcase full off sewing samples from the 1940s, i have known the lady, who they belonged too, since i was a little girl. She was a seamstress then taught  it. There is a little suit that could have belonged to a member of the Von Trapp family

Ooooooh Rhubarb, my mouth is watering here, what a yummy gift!  They look delish.

Can you dressmake?  Probably a very stooped question since you can do everything else 🙂

I have sold  off a few of my sewing patterns - it wasa bit strange, like giving away a piece of your personal history.

I was taught to sew many years ago, one neighbour was a seamstress and the other a tailoress, i used to make all my own clothes and the childrens, i still have some of my patterns somewhere. I just can't believe what i have been given, they are amazing

Good morning! Wakey, Wakey rise and shine! Those patterns look lovely! That green dress is lush! Look at the tiny waists! I haven't forgotten about beads but I do keep forgetting to get bags from the bank! Maybe I'll just use sandwich bags. I need more addresses from people who want some. Don't assume that because I've posted to you before I will have it because I'm not organised in that way and I can't keep asking Maggie!
