Just comparing the new slimline Lottie to a couple of months ago.
And now.
Can you spot the difference? 😄

Gosh she was a bit of a porker wasn't she! lol;-)
29-05-2012 3:48 PM
I can't believe I ever let her get to that size. I'm ashamed of myself.:_|
29-05-2012 3:50 PM
Now she is able to get more exersize you can make sure she stays 'slimline Lottie'.:-x
29-05-2012 3:52 PM
She's not allowed to run for another 6 weeks! 😮 And she has to loose another 1.5 kilos!:|
29-05-2012 3:58 PM
Does she like vegetables?

how do you stop a dog from running? 😐
do you do a flying rugby tackle onto her if she starts?

You keep her on the lead. I can't let Damson run. I would never see her again! lol She does get a run at the kennels as they have a secure field.:-D

My doberman used to run for miles all around me. I'd do 5 miles she'd do 50! She always came back though. Are greyhounds very difficult to get to come to call?

Well done to Lottie, you can certainly see how much weight she's lost from those pics.
Good luck Stan at the hospital :-x
I only went out to sunbathe for 20mins - 2 hours later I've come indoors. It's still warm here and lovely blue sky.

Does she like vegetables?
Can you eat them? If you can eat them, she likes them!:^O
Yes, I give her small pieces as bribes/treats/rewards whereas before it would be a bit of biscuit or similar. If there are vegies left over from dinner I'll give them to her as part of her dinner the next day, but give them in place of rather than as well as her 'rations'

Fortunately she never chooses to run, unless she's at the other end of the garden and I'm in the kitchen and I touch a plate, dish, knife or pan, or open the fridge or rattle paper that might contain food. She can run then.;-)
But, if I throw a ball she'll run after it. She sniffs it and walks back to me (leaving me to go and retrieve the ball):|

Maybe that's a loving gesture & she thinks you need the exercise? 😄
I only said maybe. 😐

Damson has selective recall!:| Trouble is she is so fast she can be out of sight in a couple of minutes.
29-05-2012 4:47 PM
Just had a text from Oscar to say he's visiting Monday lunchtime! He's advanced that boy! :^O They won't tell us what the new one due in October is going to be. X-( Must be pink, I have 2 sons, 2 step-sons, one grandson, one step-greatgrandson & 3 great nephews with another due in 2 weeks! :_|

29-05-2012 4:54 PM
Yes I have her full racing history. She did win a few.:-)

She looks like a 'real' sporty greyhound!
