THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening 😄

I see lots of lovelies have been made.

(((hugs to the poorly peeps)))

Nothing to exciting to report, but i may have found a new dog, He's a stray terrier cross, a wirey brown colour, and about 18 months old, and (if) i get him, i'm calling him scruffy lol, he wont become available till Wednesday, they keep them 7 days to see if the original owner turns up.

Grandson goes for his tonsils out tomorrow, now hes very excited, poor luv, he knows what is going to happen, but he's only 4 so doesnt quite know its not exciting at all.

When I had my tonsils out ( many many years ago.. and at the same time as my best friend who I didn't meet properly until 3 years later. buts thats another story) it was mince & mash and ice cream for what seemed like forever..

nowdays they say cornflakes and crisps are the way to go!

when Lolly was in hospital we saw LOTS of day cases with tonsils, (or without:^O)

they had to eat cornflakes or dry toast before they were allowed home Gems

Day cases, blimey that a quick turn around.

It must be real scratchy for them eating toast 😞  GS will probably ask for jam on lol

Son had probs when he had his done with his temp, so was in 4 days, Daughter had probs with recovery from the anesthetic (sp)

were hoping GS goes through it easy peasy.

Yours are fine Chez, if I didn't use markers I would end up with an eye where its ears should be :8}

lol...my lack of markers was lazyness rather than confidence in my ability to get the placing right.. I kinda figured if I marked the middle and hadn't knitted straight the face would be crooked anyway!  so I guessed..

Morning

Sorry I've been missing again - promised myself less computer time and more time for making stuff this year. As well as a fair next month, I want to make stock for my f*lksy shop too.

Doing ok with the making - pile of stuff is growing nicely - just need to decide what goes to which pile!!

Plus I've loads of birthdays coming up too - so making towards those too.
