THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I don't think you can ask about sewing now this is a thread about domestic tension & ornathology (that is birds isn't it?).

may sound stupid but have you tried standing where you were and throwing something else roughly the same size to see where it goes?

Could you hoover everywhere it might be Huggles...under the furniture and such like?......

if you put the nozzle on it may stick to the end or at least you could check the bag to see if its been sucked up?

You might not be able to see it...but the suction might find it for you ?:|

I can't believe I've just suggested doing a sort of  housework.........sorry :8}

and is it a paperback or hardback book Merlin?

Great idea Merlin......I bow down to the greater knowledge of the Witchy High Priestess of all things Cleanable :-x :^O

if it's a hard back you might have to put in a gusset (]:) ) cos the corners will soon rub through the material unless you make it quite a lot bigger than the book.At least if it has 'sides' it won't pull tight across the corners......

Does that make any sense?.....cos it does in my head :^O

Morning ladies.:-D

How come you all come on here before I'm up?  All day yesterday...nothing, have a look in this morning and ...natter natter natter...yab yab yab.  If I was the sensitive type I'd think you were avoiding me.:-(

((huggles)) I think I'd be more worried about hubbie than finding your ring.  Can't you ring the doctor and explain that he won't go to the surgery, so what should you do?

I washed bedding yesterday, dried it on the line and then aired it on the Aga, talk about clean linen yankees, I didn't need to light one last night, the smell was lovely.

I bet I've frightened you all away , watch this thread go dead again now.:-(

I wrote that ^^^ about no-one being here and then I disappeared!:^O

That 'person' turned up.:-(  I can't call her a friend.  She turns up every four or five weeks for the magazines I save for her.  She used to be my dad's cleaner and I must admit, she was more like a carer than a cleaner, she really was a God-send, I am really indebted to her, but she's not who I would choose as a friend.

Well, I'd better go and do something now.:-D

I feel left out too CG  😞 bet there been lots of posts talking about us that they got pulled before we could read them :^O

((((Huggles))))  hope hubby's behaviour changes soon, hope you manage to get him for a check up although it sounds as if he can't see that anything is wrong. I really hope you find your ring soon.

I remember throwing my wedding ring back at my hubby a couple of years ago, I wouldn't put it back on for a couple of months 😐

I don't think I could have hurt him more if I 'd tried 😞 but at least I knew where it was.

I hope Gems OH enjoyed his new job 😄

I wonder how Gems is getting on back in charge of housework, hope she gives herself lots of coffee breaks :8}

Yup, see, they've gone again.  I can clear this place in two seconds flat!:-(

I've never thrown my ring at hubby, I'd need a saw to get it off first, it's been on there 43 years next month.  Besides, if I threw it at him he'd probably pawn it!:^O
