I has loads of 4" squares, now what to do with them, hmmmm, im new to sewing and i thought maybe a babys quilt
i have the batting (is that right) plain fabric for back and everything else would it be easy to and how many squares do you think id need for a baby's quilt??

Right, I'm off again. Get me rucksack out, ear muffs, gloves, neck gaitor, wooly jumper, socks, boots, very very waterproof bag to house my cigarettes and lighter, lippy (most important - never know who you may meet up a big hill).

do you iron the fabric first or after youve sewn the squares, is it ironing the seams afterwards that makes it neat?!?

Just give it a go and see what happens. That's what I did. As others have said, if you make a mistake, learn from it.

Learning you know what your right, ill have a whirl, im all fired up ready to go and i so want to do it so yes ill do it and ill be back with finished product thank you 🙂

jac press the material before
then sew, and press the seams all in one dorection for the forst strip, then they next way for the 2nd and back to the 1st way for the 3rd
