Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Oooh your bath is nice & shiny I'm sure Merlin will approve. 😄

In case anyone's wondering there's still no sign of the ring & he still swears blind it's all in my head.......and he's booked us 4 days in Majorca even though we've already booked 4 days in Bellamedina. Neither of which I know how to spell. 😐

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

There is no way he would go to the doctors. He thinks I'm off my head for suggesting anything is wrong. The ring is not important but it's special. It can't have gone far. Unless it's with the 3 mobile phones he's lost this year.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I'm not getting any emails from 'subscribed' threads today, not had a one all day.  Is anybody else getting them, or are you not sad enough to be subscribed?

Huggles, I have St Anthony and St Jude on the case - prayed for on my very, very special rosary beads :-x

Now, hubby's behaviour might be explained by something medical which is also quite 'non-threatening'.  Anger and aggression can be the result of high blood pressure - and apparently the head pounds and takes away the memory of occasions and events (often heightened by stress).

My gentle Gerry became unpredictable and argumentative when he was 52 years old - it was blood pressure that was life-threatening.  I went to our local GP with my own anxiety in the end ..... he spotted it was Gerry's health that was the root of our problem.

Over the next 12 years I would have to recognise the signs when his blood pressure wasn't being controlled by his medication - it would start with a 'snap here' and a 'flounce there'.

The only other time I ever knew Gerry to 'not remember' was when he became diabetic (he was terminal and on steroids). Confusion was the first sign - but he was insulin dependent within days!  As long as I did his blood-sugar readings and 'whacked him' with the appropriate level of insulin, he was my usual calm and loving Gerry.

I share this with you so that you can consider whether hubby might be ill.  Not mentally - but physically.  It is possibly something that is easily diagnosed and treatable.

In the meantime, I send you a huge hug.

Anne x xx

Ringo (huge lick *slurp*)

P.S Let St Anthony and St Jude go looking for your ring..... it is in the house and NOT LOST!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I've always had the emails, although they usually turn up about half an hour after the post!  They're definitely absent today though as I'm getting other emails ok.  They must be 'improving' things again!:^O

Oooh! That looks delicious and very professional!  So neat.:-D

Yes merlin, that's the idea, every time someone adds to the thread you get an email, but in theory the email takes anything from 5 to 30 minutes to arrive.  I still haven't got emails saying you and numpty have posted.:|
