Mags its the same here, never see any adverts for craft fairs, we used to have to travel miles if we went to one 😐

Afternoon

We wrapped up warm and headed up the coast to Southwold for a family walk. Even the grumpy almost-teen and lanky-teen came with us and actually enjoyed it.

We found a proper sweet shop and managed to agree on 2 types of sweets we all liked 🙂

Just tidied out my desk drawer and found the 2 craft books I assumed lost forever 🙂 Means I can make some progress with my knitting skills and possibly even start to learn to crochet 🙂

Mind you I mustn't forget that I need a whole tables worth of stuff for the end of Feb.

Wish some of you were nearer - we could have shared a space 🙂

The plan is to make at least one thing each day - hopefully the smaller things like the bears I should be able to do more.

How long to knit a bunny?

I finished my Wrist Warmers with very little wool to spare.
These ones are really thick so very warm.
Think I prefer them to gloves for driving etc

Mags - a little teddy takes less than an hour - tbh the end stitching in and sewing up takes longer than the knitting!!

Wow - you have got hang of the cables. I have that magazine and had tried to make sense of it. I think I need to follow a few more simple patterns before I start something like that.

someone knitted me something like those, but with a pinkie and ring finger in, like gloves

superb for fishing as you need thumb, middle & forefinger only

i now have neoprene ones, but they were much appreciated! so if you know anyfishermen....

Nearly all I knit are toys n novelty stuff, I can sit & knit to my little hearts content 🙂  but when it comes to sewing them up ............. they often end up in bag marked "TO DO" ....... I still have christmassy stuff from 2yrs ago in it  😐

Now that's what I call clever mags, no not the wrist warmers (although they're great), I mean taking a picture of them......................without using your hands!:O

So what are you all sewing/knitting because I'm looking for inspiration?  Can't find it anywhere, must be with that missing umbrella!
