Good grief CK. £200 for a dentist. That's shocking.
Well, we've had the old garage removed and they've laid the bas for the new one. They are coming back on Monday to put the new garage up. They'll be here at 7.30 depending on the traffic. I hope that I get a better sleep on Sunday night as I was up half the night with terrible cramp. I rang the doctor's at lunchtime and they've given me a prescription for quinine phospate tablets. My right thigh is still hurting a lot even now. I hate getting cramp at the best of times but when I get in my thigh, it's absolute agony. I've been getting a lot of cramp lately but I've got some tablets now.

I get cramp in the arch of my foot sometimes & it's agony. Enough to bring tears to your eyes! I hope the tablets work for you Chris.

Afternoon all,
Just come on here for a bit of light relief. This week has been dreadful as my FIL sadly died on Wednesday and we have had a lot to organise, The funeral is going to be on Monday 30th, but a lot to do before then.
Not too sad really though, as he had gone downhill very quickly, so better that he didn't linger on.
Still a shock and very sad though,

Thanks Maggie. At midnight last night, I was in tears it was that bad.
Mags, I am so sorry for you and your family over your FIL. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Hope it all goes without a hitch Mags. Take care & find some time for yourselves.

Front piece of garden finished ta dah. Just got the slabs to put in when they arrive next week and the bin store by the gate but that isn't coming until next week as well. Boy it was hot work but it looks lovely, only a small space because most of our garden is on the side of the house

It comes as a shock when it's so sudden doesn't it Mags, but it is the best way when it's inevitable. I hope everything goes according to plan for the funeral.
That's looking good ed! I like the bike on the fence too!
Cramp?? Don't mention cramp! I've been prone to it for years, you mention it I get cramp in it. Just recently I get it 8/10 nights as soon as I lay down in bed. I get it in my ribs then.
I thought I'd had it bad in my legs before but a couple of weeks ago I got the worst ever! It was from my knee to my groin. The muscle was like concrete, no chance of stretching it out. I'd never been in so much agony, hubby woke up and was massaging it. He commented on how long it had been since....well, never mind that!!!
It lasted about half an hour, and I could feel it for a good three days later!

Like the garden Ed.
My right leg was like that at around midnight last night. I've had cramp in my thigh before but never like that. It was so bad, I was in tears. I have a high pain threshold so you can tell how bad it was. I get cramp most nights and it's no joke so I know CG. I'll definitely be taking one of my tablets tonight. My right thigh is still a lot sore from last night. I hope that I don't get it again tonight or I'll scream. My mum won't be pleased but neither will I.
I hope that you don't get cramp tonight CG.

Just popped back to say thank you for your thoughts.
P.S. To stop cramp at night, put a wine or champagne cork in the bottom of the bed. Has to be a proper cork, not a plastic one.
No idea how or why it works, but it does!

Thanks for the suggestion on the cork Mags. I think that I'll try that one.

Love the garden Ed.
Mags - thinking of you, hope all goes as well as it can.
Must be the season for cramp - I was in theatre this morning, having "the hole" cleaned out when I got cramp in my leg. Consultant was cursing and I was sobbing with the pain - not good!

Wow Ed!! your hard work has paid off, that looks fab, lovely hanging basket there too. Did you see those brackets we had in work with the birds on them? they were lovely. I have a couple up in the garden now.
You should be well proud of that. I plan to take a piccie tomorrow now that my summer bulbs have come into flower.

Afternoon all. Love the bag Dairy. I think that you've done well with the mosaic Von. It's lovely.
I started taking the quinine tablets on Friday night and it's been fine. My right thigh is still a bit sore from the cramp on Thursday night but it's a lot better than it was. Sorry to hear that you had it when you were having the 'hole' cleaned out the other. It was bad enough for me the other night but it must have been a lot worse for you.
