i was working on my lap, on a steel tray i use
i went and picked up lots of bits and pieces (ribbons/bells/bows etc)
sat down and started
i used about 4% of what i had picked
OH said the door couldnt hold all the stuff i had got out to put on it
i sat and made the wee lady a basket with a rolling pin and teatowel in it
i see it sitting on my workbench
**wonders if i can sneak it on**

Lovely wreath merlin, I like your little gingerbread people.

Merlin thats Fab. I love it. I have my wreath over the light bracket outside as the darned plastic door won't allow sticky hooks to stay and it wont shut if I try to put something over the top.
Merlin are you taking orders for next Christmas?

I had a brain storm and got my over door hanger thing, but the door is too thick!!
Did you already have the gingerbread people merlin? I expect if you haven't, they will take quite a while to make. You should go into production with bovine and Maggie. Maggie can make the raggy wreaths, bovine can make the felt things and you can add the flutes and whistles and bells!!
21-12-2013 10:22 PM
we could have a sweatshop going
i had already made the rag wreath
it hangs in the kitchen
i had already made the gingerbread men as well
i much prefer making them from felt and probably would do again
or make them by hand
the felt ones i had made already were too small to use
what are you doing in this sweatshop chickengrandma??

I wonder who's peeling the spuds????
Peeling the spuds - do you mean to tell me that you are supposed to peel spuds - I just scrub them well and leave the skins on. No-one has ever complained (or even noticed) if they are for roasties and if they are for mash I just slide the skins off the cooked spuds before putting the spuds through the potato ricer.
