Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That sounds nice Maggie , hope you get some bargains .

Bright and sunny here but a real nip in the air, but thankfully my journey into work is far quicker on the weekend so managed to get an extra hour in bed  (yeay the joys of 6am not 5)

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

It's not exactly sunny here but the sky is quite bright, with patches of blue.  It's soooo much warmer than it has been. Woman Happy

.com was finished by 9.30am, so we've come home. OH will have to owe the hours but we'll go in on Mon and pay it back.

so we are having a wee rest, and then we're going to put the lights up for outside.

hope you are all well and have a good day.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I've got a banging headache but being in the company of a certain soon to be three year old who happens to be motorised doesn't help.  Managed to see Grace but she has got a chest infection.  Her mum has got a bad dose of tonsilitis.  Steph's suffered from tonsilitis for years but I've never seen her so bad with it.  She had a bad dose about six weeks before the wedding but not as bad as this.  We didn't stay with her long so that she could have an early night.  It's Steph's birthday on Wednesday so I hope that she picks up before then.

Morning. Really mild here today with a tiny bit of blue sky showing. Going around in circles trying to tidy the place up. I am easily distracted! lol

Good Afternoon.

Have had a wonderful couple of days with daughter, son-in-law and the grandchildren. Have just packed up the coat and bits and pieces that they forgot to take back with them - will send it by courier.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.  It's been mild here today up to about half an hour ago but it has cooled down a bit now.  When I was coming back from my swim this morning, the car was telling me it was 11 degrees which for the beginning of December, is good.

I bet you had a lovely time seeing your family Stroppy.  It must be sad for you when they've gone.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening all.

So how was the market Maggie ??

Sounds like a lovely family visit stroppy .

Waves to books

Right off to wrap some more pressies, think it's time for these stockings to stop as takes me hours to shop for them and then sort out all the packing

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

The 'market' was two stalls with overpriced decorations & a tombola with so many non winning tickets the stall was still full of prizes. Methinks this charity is getting rather greedy. Their shops are overpriced too & there are at least three in Weymouth.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

of all the lovely things I've had off Maggie, I love the house pin cushions the best.

I've had a bit of a rough day, had a small hypo this morning, feel yukky all day and I think I'm getting this lovely bug that's doing the rounds at work!!

oh wonderous joy.................

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Aww CB.  I'm sorry about the hypo and that you're not feeling well.  ((((((CB))))))

I rang Steph earlier and she said that she feels a bit better today.  She's going to make an appointment at the doctor's tomorrow to see about having her tonsils out.  Steph told me that her MIL had lost her voice and obviously couldn't talk properly.  Grace being Grace decided that she would start imitating granny.  It's a good job that granny has a good sense of humour.

Morning all.  Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected.

I can't make out what the weather is doing here yet but at least it doesn't look frosty thankfully,

Hugs to all that need them.

Quite mild here on the drive in this morning but should definitely have got an earlier night as shattered today.
