TENERIFE....recommendations for days out/things to do....please

My son and I are off to Tenerife in a couple of weeks but are on a really limited budget. We are staying in Playa de las Americas.

Can anybody recommend places to go/things to do whilst we are there?

this place is good for a day out & there used to be a free bus that you could get on in Las Americas  🙂

You might want to ask a poster called tommy.irene on the RT board as they live in Tennerife, not sure whereabouts though but maybe worth a post to them as they are there most days.
