Just asking if anyone else has taken this for their Migraines?. I have the 100mg and normally find one dose is enough for any one Migraine and they do work BUT they make me light headed for a little while and then really tired musclewise later on!, especially if im working!. It seems to sap my energy. I do have to take my Amitriptyline every night too but just wondered how the Imigran has affected others who may have taken it?.

I used to take Imigran for migraines and I used to feel drained for days after but I put this down to the migraine attack itself. I also had the Imigran injections as well just in case I was a bit late in taking one of the Imigran tablets.
Hope that you feel better soon Rose.

Their Hormonal since i entered Perimenopause hun. I had another Blood test done this week as the doctor wants to see my Hormone levels. They have been out of kilter,, thats when the Migraines started. Their so much better now i have medication but i still get them. I cant take HRT because my family has history of cancer,, i dont really want too as it scares me a bit. i will have to take medication until i come out of menopause and hopefully they will stop..

I have trigeminal autonomic cephalgia which is treated with sumatriptan. The pills don't work as they take too long to get in your system, but the injections are marvellous. No side effects or after effects what so ever, just blessed relief.

Ohhhh i have never heard of that condition before. Its amazing the different things you can get, even the nerves in your face have all different names. That must hurt too.
