What do you think of that?
I think its right in one way as it should be used for heating costs and when you live in a hot country you certainly don't need it.

I suppose you need heating in warmer countries too... not warm 24/7 ..
but, yep, I agree that cuts have to be made, somehow, somewhere....

Yes, I agree.

Also agree

Absolutely, If you don't need heating you don't need help with it.

Ex-pats should not get the winter fuel allowance especially if they live in a warmer climate.

Also agree. If you live here you get it, if you don't you go without!

Anomaly
If you live in Northern France which is every bit as cold as some parts of Scotland in Winter, you will lose this, whereas people living in Southern Italy will still get it

If you chose to live abroad, other than your contributory based pension, you should receive nothing from the country you decided wasn't good enough for you to live in, including running back for free healthcare. Harsh maybe but just my opinion.
Also feel EU nationals claiming child allowance for children resident in their original country is wrong.

I agree 100%.:-)
I also agree whole heartedly. If they come back to this country for health care then they should pay for it.
Don't start me on the foreign nationals one. It makes my blood boil.
