Now the customer is always right. I always believe my customers that their dogs, pets, babies actually bid on the item.
However I rarely believe them enough that I'll do a mutual cancellation instead of a NPB to get the fees back

Mind you funny things happen ............
Nearly had to send emails along the lines of cannot despatch because your item has been damaged to a few people this morning.
Daughter lost one of Sproglet's "leak proof" toddler cups last week and finally found it this morning(rather a long way from where she said she lost it) in a box of goods waiting despatch, LEAKING MILK!!!!!!!!!! Fortunately the goods were not contaminated, pity about the box they were in, the hall floor and my feet!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure anybody would believe me.
Box is only there because the deliveries don't stay around long enough to make it worth shifting them out the hall and up the lockup!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah well that'll save me clearing out under the spare bed(which is where she said she lost it).
