Hellooo, rubish weather here until about an hour ago, heavy rain, yuk,  my mum rang me and said that one of the local shops was selling craft things for 50p a packet, so when I finished work I mosied off to said shop and oh dear I bought loads, luckily OH was working in Somerset today, so I managed to get home and put it all away before he noticed.

I had a fabulous lunch out in great company today. I really enjoyed it as I don't go out to eat much & this was a real treat. Rather sleepy from the wine but I will stay awake as I need to walk Damson.:)

Glad that you enjoyed your lunch Maggie.  Ed, I used to be like that with wool.  I used to work in Warrington and there was a brilliant wool shop there which has long since closed.  I used to get some lovely wool and knitting patterns from there.

Must admit that I'm not a fan of mussels.  I'm a bit fussy over fish.  I normally stick to cod, haddock or salmon.

We've got the gas fire on low at the moment.  A few weeks ago, we were too hot.  We're never happy in this country are we?  It's either too hot or too cold.

This is England. Temperate climate with no huge extremes. I think we are very fortunate. No earthquakes, tsunami, droughts etc.

Morning all am I the first one up. Lovely blue sky here now was chucking it down. Started work at 3 having tea break now finish at 8 then back again for a couple of hours tonight. Taking my dad for his regular eye appointment later. OH working in somerset again today so I have got the place to myself loverly.
