so we took plenty of holidays up there

if we didnt go the last 2 week in august  we'd go for  new years 🙂

last time i went was with OH we stayed in Ayr but drove all over, loved the Falkirk wheel

would have loved to have stopped in Edinburgh but we couldnt find a carpark  lol

Hellooo, oh my aching feet, really busy morning at work, and my feet are killing me, new shoes for ed.  didn't finish until 12.30 and I started at 3am,  came in had lunch and promptly fell asleep.

Hope everybody is feeling ok, big hugs to mercles.

Has been lovely and sunny here, but a chilly wind again it was 5 degrees when I went to work this morning brrrrrrrr. definitely not summer weather, never mind at least it isn't raining, the washing is drying and I can work in the garden without melting.

I have only tidied up the lounge and put the washing in today, rest of the time I've read my book and demolished toast and coffee...well you have it to do on your day off don't you? oh and I made a lovely lunch for OH as he was working today. ( I is good little hoosewife coo)

Evening all.  We've had a lovely day out in Llandudno today.  We had a three course meal at a hotel and then we had a couple of hourse of retail therapy.  I bought myself a pair of shoes in the sale at M&S.  It took us over two and a half hours to get back home.   We're shattered now.  It rained on the way to Llandudno but the weather was beautiful whilst we were there.

Hopes that Twishy doesn't lick too many windows.

Good morning. A restful night after the train journey down from Scotland yesterday.
I drove up there but left the car, in the hope that my next drive up will be in a hired van full of my stuff, when I move.
And a pre-booked train fare is a lot cheaper than the cost of the petrol required for the drive down. And 3 hours less journey time. Plus, I get an extra 10% off with a Senior Rail Card.

I'm waiting for the garage to collect the car  - it has a faulty window switch. Meeting work colleagues late afternoon and we're going out for a meal.

Cool and grey outside, quite chilly too, but it's dry.
