Rather wet up north today.  We went on a trip to Skipton today.  As luck with have it, for the first hour, we went on a trip on a barge along the Leeds Liverpool Canal so we were under cover. It was still raining when we got off the barge but the weather did pick up a bit as the day went on.  I had to buy a new phone yesterday and my mum bought me a cover for it.  I bought us both a new cagoule.  We did take some with us but we decided that we needed new ones.  We had a nice day despite the weather.

We hadn't had rain for a while up to today.  Apparently, it rained a lot here whilst we were out.

It's not been nice weatherwise here since Wednesday.  It is quite cool here at the moment.  I've still got my winter duvet on the bed as it's not quite warm enough yet for the summer duvet.

we bought some new duvets the other day, from A*di, said on them temperature control, we got them home and then discovered they were only 4.5 tog! but, we are warmer than we were with our rotten old ones.....lovely and cosy last night.

It rained in the night but now, this afternoon, it's lovely and sunny, I pottered about a bit after work but to be honest my foot is so sore after nutting the neighbours door frame from the conservatory into the kitchen, that I caved in and am now sitting and resting for a bit, I feel sleepy though.......zzzzzzzz
