Say hello if you're online

the number of views compared to posts shows that lots of people pop in to look ( I know I do!), so here's your chance to say hello if you're lurking/browsing.

Say hello if you're online

Afternoon all.  Sorry to hear about your loss Towery.  Quite a few members of my family have died from cancer.  It's a horrible thing.

We've just had one almighty downpour.  The rain bounced down for about 5 or 10 minutes.  It's been on the cool side here today and a little bit breezy.  We've not long since put the heat on for a few minutes in order to take the chill off the bungalow.

Nothing nicer in this weather than Horse riding, porridge is a great breakfast for that sort of activity,

Say hello if you're online

Afternoon all.  Even though it is on the cool side here today, it is bright and sunny.  The tulips my mum bought me came today  and they and now planted along with some others I bought a few weeks.  I know that you are supposed to plant tulip bulbs in November but we don't know what the weather will be like.  Whilst I was planting my tulips, I had a right chatty time with some of the neighbours which was nice.

we've been out for the day, over to Anglesey, the weather was lovely, we had a picnic overlooking the Menai bridge...the old one.

Bought a throw to match the colour of the coffee tables....turqoise!!! and a lampshade for the little lamp in the corner...lovely!

It was a lovely day, we both enjoyed ourselves. Only two days left of our hols now.

Ed's cards are lovely, she's very clever.

Glad that you enjoyed your day out CB.  I like Anglesey but we've only been there when we've been getting the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin.

Morning. Been out on the maiden voyage of my new bike that my daughters bought me for my birthday. Haven't cycled for over 20 years (last time was on my 15yr old daughters bike & she's 36 now!), had great fun, went further than I intended, feeling absolutely exhilerated.

Afternoon all.

Hope that Maggie and Mags are feeling better.  Welcome back to funny-wee-wifie.

We had a foggy start to the day and now we have wall to wall sunshine.  It's quite warm outside at the back but it was cold first thing.  I've set the heat to come on at 6.30 in a morning as it has been quite cool this last few days.

Hello,

Well, was at A & E on Wednesday (another attack of muscle spasms) and the lovely Trevor from tissue viability threw a wobbly at the state of "the hole". It took him over 4 hours, a lot of wasted dressings, and an awful lot of swearing, but he got a vacuum dressing on and the pump going. It has been patched a few times, the canister is filling at an alarming rate, but it is holding. Saves an awful lot of discomfort and mess.

Have started on a cross stitch picture for grand-daughter for Xmas.

Have got a few bits for Xmas pressies, but shopping is on hold. The dishwasher had to be replaced and work are refusing to pay me sick-pay as per my contract. The union are threatening to take them to a tribunal, but in the mean time cash flow is tight.

Have a nice evening
