We have had thunder & lightning & torrectial rain. Damson is under the table panting for England!

So far Molly hasn't shown any fear of thunder but she doesn't like plastic bags.

Archie the gsd cross hates any noise thunder fireworks shouting motorbikes. Poppy spaniel cross however thinks its time to go to work.

We have had a few showers today and it's cold again.  It's windy but I've known it worse.

we had a whacking great thunder and lightening episode last night about 10pm. Sat in bed watching the sheet lightening going out to sea...woooooo.

I quite like a storm.

Haven't done much today really except shop for the food. I have bought two more presents for Christmas, now down to 2 to buy....goody!

We need a few more bits for Grace.  I've got to buy a few more little bits for my mum and I haven't a clue what to buy for my dad.  Why is it so hard to buy for some men?

I know, it's so much easier to buy for a woman. OH always seems to get chocolate, people just don't think what he may like, they just say "oh I'll get him some chocolate..." or he gets biscuits or socks!!!!

mind you, I've given up now on buying him anything as it's always the wrong thing...I let him pick something and we get him that, it's a shame though as all the suprise goes out of Christmas!!

I bought Gary an expensive phone speaker dock, record to CD converter system, a full set of books & other stuff last christmas, approx £400. Well thats one lot of money I'll save this year plus any that would have been spent on the in laws as not one of them sent me a birthday card this year despite not being able to forget as my birthday was the same day as his sisters, well thats more saved. Been part of that family for 42 years, bought all their pressies & cards 'cos he never bothered. Well thats going to be more money saved. Only my girls & their families to buy for this year, should save a fortune

I've still no idea what to buy for my dad.  I'll have a proper look in town tomorrow as I'll have more time.

It is on the cool side here.  Mum's just said that we are going to have to start putting the heat on in a morning.  Round here, the weather seems to have gone from not too bad to cold overnight.  I was talking to a lady who lives near me yesterday and she agreed.

Beezy and dry here. Washing about to go out, I am getting a bit of a pile in the garage. It won't dry indoors because the heating isn't on.

afternoon me darlins...I have made the mincemeat for the mince pies...can you believe that? rum goes in it on Monday and then it's to bed with it until middle of December.

it's nice and sunny today but very cold. OH is fast asleep after doing some DIY this morning...swapping doors around to try and gain some light in the hall.
