Morning. Hobbling around with a bad back today. Rather grey here with a bit of rain in the air. Going to get my hair cut in a minute but will go on the bus rather than walk I think. It's only three stops but a long way uphill if your back hurts.

Sunny spells here today, cool breeze but nice and warm in shelter.  Finished work for the day, and not back until Friday woopie.

By the way if anyone can remember my sorry tale of our problems with the lovely BT, today we have finally been sorted, we had an email saying they were going to send the bill to a debt collection agency, well red rag to a bull, I rang and ask to be put in contact with someone in charge, not in India but here.  All has been refunded, we are owed £8 and we get to keep the box and modem.

Finally, I asked her to send an email confirming this, which she has and a text on my mobile and a text on my house phone so I have plenty of proof.  At bloomin last.

Afternoon all.  If our new little lady is anything like her sister, she may well come in two days late at least.  Grace was due on 16th December but only came into the world on 29th.  She's not been slow since.  

We had heavy rain overnight and also this morning.  It's cloudy and very windy here at the moment.

Hope that your back soon feels better Maggie.

Went shopping this a.m. Christmas cards are in the shops now! I almost bought some but thought it was a bit early. Been a mixed day weatherwise, showers, sun, warm.

Yes I am back home. Just feeling tired - the meds make me sleepy. Hands are getting much better and the wound is healing really nicely.

I'm really proud of myself as I've managed to make myself a new top - mind you, it's a good job that neither the overlocker nor the sewing machine needed threading. You'd have laughed if you'd seen me trying to thread a needle - held the needle threader in my teeth.

Afternoon all.  My internet was down for a couple hours this morning.  I've been out for lunch with a couple of friends.  When I got back, mum wanted to nip into town for mooch around Wilkos.  I'm absolutely shattered at the moment.

I have had a stinking headache all day, I think I am overtired.   I have put some stuff in the washing machine to clean it out today as my toells came out a bit smelly yesterday.  Shopping came lunchtime so that had to be put away,  put a beef casserole in the cookpot but forgot to switch it on oooopps.  Weather has been lovely this afternoon, sunny and windy.

We've had a few spots of rain on and off all day today.  It's a bit sunny but there's a lot of cloud around.
