I think there are just not enough people passing by to notice it this year, plus there are lots of others running at the same time. But still, as long as there is someone to swap with you, the buying/making and receiving, a present can still go ahead. 
I just thought, my daughter asked me the other day if anyone can join in. She doesn't even come on FHG (but she makes nice things) so would anybody mind if I slipped her name into the draw?
I could drag in a few passers by in the street perhaps???

Do gifts all have to be hand crafted, or will shop bought, or combination of the 2, be acceptable?
