**Received an email from eBay? Check if it is real here!**

Hello All,

Recently some deceptive emails have been sent out to eBay and PayPal members, online bank users have also been targeted. These emails which are referred to as "spoof" or "phished" messages, are sent in an attempt to collect sensitive personal or financial information from the recipients.

The emails will often ask you to click a link to verify your information, or update your account details. Never click a link from an email like this and never submit your user ID and password via a link in an email.

You can always check your account information by going to www.ebay.co.uk clicking My eBay in the top header, logging on and there, you will be able to check all your details.

If you receive an email of this nature, please forward it straight to spoof@ebay.co.uk or if it is PayPal, please send it to spoof@paypal.com Do not enter any information, once you have forwarded it, please delete it.

You can find out more information about account safety here: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/safetycentre/index.html

Thanks,

Alexia
