Any suggestions with shops who sell Onesies? Going into town next week and dont want to be traipsing round all the shops seeking them out so if anybody can give me the name of shops that sell them I shall go straight there.
And NO I wont buy on Ebay!
Thanks for any tips

Guardpig if you get a fleece one and just cut the legs off for her length, it doesnt matter about taking up or hemming that material as it doesnt fray.
The mens ones have a 2 way zip lucky things;)
They are saving us money on the heating!!

Any ideas without spending oodles and oodles.
If you can find one with a body that fits and it's just the arms and legs that are too long, you could always shorten those - no need to cut, just fold each one up on itself and sew the pleat down.

No....
A world full of teletubby-like aliens, and if they have hoods you dread to think where they've been.
At least the old-fashioned combinations had a practical flap...

Looking at them there is no way any of it is going to fit. Depending on the shop some 10/11 year old ones are right but others are way too long. She has just started a work placement in a year 3 class(7/8 yr olds) and keeps complaining some of the kids are taller than her!.

Love mine!
But i only wear in the house.. not shopping trips, as some folk do!
My advice... get one without feet!
mine has no hood, no feet, and is thin fleece.. i put a tee shirt or short nighty on underneath so no freezation when you go to the toilet!

Oh Cookie I am glad I am not the only one, not a fan, that's why I haven't joined in this conversation before. We get people coming in the shop with them on and not only youngsters, heavens what a sight.

last week while driving through town i saw a woman (not small woman) wearing a patterned one and i thought OMG.icould not believe people actually go out in them..so shocked.it looked dreadful

I agree, lazy dressing my mother calls it. Sadly some ladies who go out in them think they look the bees knees and they really don't.
Indoors if you are poorly or unable to go out fair enough it's horses for courses but outside definitely not.

My two youngest daughters had them back in the 70s when they were small, only fitted up to about 5 yr-olds in those days! I think they're ok for kids but not for anyone else! Definitely not street wear.
