We gave up doing the National Lottery when they put the price up. We do the health lottery instead. We won £10 a couple of weeks ago and we have won a £20 as well.

My OH decided to use birthdays and anniversaries 12 years ago so I daren't miss one as more than likely our numbers will come out when we don't do it. The most we have ever won is £49.00 on 4 numbers, the rest of our wins have been 3 numbers, mind it is better now you get £25. I seem to go through phases, winning 3 draws on the trot and then nothing for 6 months or more.

I've never won a penny!
Do you think it would help if I bought a ticket?

Instead of doing two lines on the Saturday lottery, I moved to one line on the Euromillions when they put the price up. Might as well have the chance of winning the really big prize and make a lot of people happy if we did.

i do number 1 bonus ball at work and it has only come out twice since i have been doing it.but down the two pubs we go to we do number 15 which is £100 in one pub and £50 in the other and it must have been out about 6 times this year alone .so for us we win more doing the bonus ball..

It's not a myth; that really does happen. I speak from ( frustrated! ) experience!
What happened, and this was over 10 years ago now, was I had a dream in which I saw the lottery numbers. So of course I put those numbers in for the next draw instead of my usual lucky dip. Nothing happened. Same next draw. And the one after. After a month, I reverted to using the lucky dip.
Guess which numbers came up on the very next draw?!?!? Plus, of course, it rolled over meaning if I had put those numbers in that time it wouldn't have been a plit prize either.... Should have trusted my instincts shouldn't I?!?
