A man went to the dentist and after looking in his mouth, the dentist said: "Say aarrrr, please." Baffled, the man did what he was told. After he'd paid the bill, he asked the dentist why he wanted him to say Aarrrr.
"Surely it's something a doctor does."
"My dog died yesterday - I just wanted a bit of sympathy." He replied. Good luck, Honey. I'll "think" of you tonight.

If you have found a good one you will eventually not mind going.:) bad dentists have a lot to answer for!

We used to have Polish lady dentist at the practice we go to and she was a horror. I'm not racist but she lost more patients for that practice than enough. In the end, I think that they let her go as nobody would see her.

good luck at the dentist, think in general they are much better than they used to be but horrific memories from childhood have put most of us off, hopefully the next generation won't carry that fear

good news that you have got a good dentist although the cost is the biggest ouch!!! My extractions are healing fast so no reason why yours won't as well, just that I can't get used to the partial denture but I thinks that's because the extraction site hasn't healed enough yet. Very impressed that you got a coffee as well - I didn't, but there again I'm nhs. So pleased you got on alright though - I always say that a dental appointment is the best laxitive I know of!

Glad that you have found a good dentist ed even though it is rather expensive. As you say, it's a good job that you've got insurance.
Myra, I'm pleased that you're feeling better today after your visit to the dentist the other day.
