Just been caught at the post office where I had to pay an extra 20p per iten due to increases that came into effect from today - doh!
OK, so I was only £1.00 out of pocket, but all my earlier listings - about seventy in all, are going to have to be repriced - thousands of us are going to get caught, and once an item is sold, that's it. You can't send your client an email asking for an extra 20p because of an oversight on your part.
So if you haven't already done it, do it NOW!
This same message is repeated on the other forum of which I make no apologies - SPREAD THE WORD!

The post office put up their prices at this time every year.
The actual increases were advertised at least a month ago.
So you shouldn't have been caught out.

I mistakenly thought they went up on the 1st April so I will be paying the extra on the four I have to post today. I have already added 20p to the listings I have running now.

You#re lucky - I've got seventy-odd item to plough through which doesnt include 140 puzzles!
The annoying thing is you can't revise if you have watchers. The only way round it is to send the item to "end" and withdraw the item and then relist. However you are then back to square one and your watcher may have gone elsewhere. The page views are't worth a lot - I've had seventy page views on a suitcase but not one watcher! That was more than I got for my guitar!

Of course you can revise if you have watchers, watchers have no effect on a listing,
you can't revise if you have bids.

Make a note in your diary for next year Frederick. They go up the same time every year.
