Some of you may remember my last post about my black cat who came from a shelter.
He has been with me for 7 weeks now, and for the first 6 weeks, he was a nervous, scaredy cat who hid in the spare bedroom and scurried under the bed whenever I had visitors or the postman came to the door.
Last weekend, he seemed to change overnight, and became a loving, affectionate cat, coming to me and visitors for fuss and cuddles.
If he wants a kip, he will curl up on the shelf under my computer desk.
Seems like my patience paid off.
It is hard to believe that he is the same cat, and he even looks different.

I am glad that Sooty has finally come round and that he isn't as shy as he was.

Mustard, I think it's him that's been patient. He's been waiting to see if he could trust you after his past experiences and now he's sure, he's adopted his real self.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

Oh that is good news. I'm glad he's settled in OK.
Now the owner training can begin - you know the bit where he teaches you to provide for his every whim 🙂
