Muncies on a Miserable Monday

It is miserable in more than one way - horrible cold weather - and no sales for me either though it is supposed to by super cyber day for online purchases 😞

have been out today acting as taxi for my friend who had to drop his car off at the garage. Taxi service resumed tomorrow when it is picked up. For lunch we stopped off at a cafe and I had a breakfast for lunch LOL. by the way all christmas shopping done as well

Tea later is chicken jalfrezi for moi and son is having butter chicken. Pilau rice

love the avatar CG!!

we had fish and chips today down by the sea...lovely!

we were a bit over faced with it though, I think from now on, one portion between two of us will be plenty....

I don't think we'll be having any supper...........................

Re: Muncies on a Miserable Monday

I am experimenting tonight....... Not sure how it will come out. But what I did was brown some pork chops with paprika, rosemary and some thyme. Then set them aside. In same frying pan cooked some lardons, sliced onion and then some chopped up greens. Once the greens were wilted a bit put into a oven dish and then put a tin of chopped tomatoes on, some cream and milk and a bit of cheddar cheese and then topped with the chops. covered with foil and baked in oven for 50 min..... at 190 fan(my fan seems to cook cooler rather than hoter). Also cooking some roastie potatoes to go with. Hopefully it will be nice.

Life is too short so enjoy it while you can!
