I cooked slow roasted lamb & Jackie my daughter did the dishing up & laid the table. We all went for a walk on the beach while the meat cooked. They got me chocolate & an orchid which was lovely. The grandchildren gave their mum chocolate & Amy made peppermint creams at Brownies. Both made cards, even the 13 year old boy which I thought was lovely. My son sent me a card with some scratch cards in & I won enough to get a bottle of wine. It was a lovely day.

We had chinese, just hubby and I as son went out for late afternoon/evening.
Didn't hear anything from eldest son. We only hear from him when he needs bailing out of some trouble, money or his washing done. He doesn't always get it though.
Youngest bought me some carnations and ferrero rocher choccies which were lovely, especially as he bought them with his own money and didn't have to be reminded. He forgot the card but I'm not worried about that.
