Miss Grey.

Im just making an observation really all but an infuriating one a bit!!!. Why is it after colouring my hair Pale Blonde i can still see they GREY AT THE FRONT SIDES???.

I know they say you have to go darker to get rid of grey but i do not want too. I have just stood in my bathroom painstakingly slathering Hair Colour on my grey bits,,,,. I wash it out and you can still see them!!. AAArrrrggghhhhhh. WELL,,i suppose at least i have hair and should be thankful. Oh what we do to try and stay looking Beautiful. I SAID TRY YES!!!!!!!!!!!. LOOOOL>

I did go grey once but it took so long for the colour to grow out, and I hated it I don't want to be grey, the only trouble is that when the roots show it is quite a contrast to the darker colour.  I have never been a blonde and never really fancied it, but I am sure it would probably be easier and might blend a bit better.

Don't start me off with waxing, eeeekkkk

Miss Grey.

I've a few greys showing through too. I started dyeing it about 6 months ago. I'm a brunette.

In the past I have hi-lighted it, but I have a lot of very fine hair and found the bleach really dried my hair.

I tried a shop bought dye but the smell was just too much for me.

So I gave henna a try. A beautiful rich red, excellent colour and henna conditions the hair too. Yes it was hard to put on myself, my hairdresser does it for me now (she come to my house), but I was pleased with the results.

Then I read that if you mixed coffee with the henna you get a brown colour. Tbh I prefer the brown on me, it's a reddish warm brown.

It is a nuisance when it needs redoing as I leave the henna on for about 12 hours, so has to be a day that I'll be home. But I love the soft condition that the henna leaves and the colour with the coffee....and no awful smell Smiley Happy

Forgot to mention. I've only had my legs waxed once, I now use an epilator.

Eyebrows, I always get threaded now and am always pleased with the result, quick too.

Epilator, I've never tried that, as to eyebrows I have mine shaped every so often but I like to pluck it's very therapeutic .

Ooooh a tattooed lady! What have you got? I'm not a wimp when it comes to pain but ripping wax of delicate areas , noooo not for me I'm afraid, & I don't fancy walking about for days with a bag of frozen peas in position to relieve it either. Lol.
