Who'd have em?
My lovely OH is helping clean and sort for Sproglets baptism tomorrow. Having shopped, sorted garden, cleaned patio and drive I allowed him to use my Henry on the car.
Having finally got around to hoovering he really can't quite grasp the problem of him having the middle tube in the car(well it had better be there!!!!) that he's out in. I have just hoovered the front room on my knees which makes it a tad awkward moving furniture!!. I am so not happy.:-(
Mind you he has helped no end:-)

What are you moaning about - he didn't expect you to go over the carpet with a hand-brush. He left you the Henry and the hose. Goodness, some folks just don't know when they are well off.
Sounds like the sort of thing that mine would do.

Mine would never do that.............................................................he doesn't know how to use the vacuum cleaner.

guardpig, do you mean the piece he ran over with the car and binned hoping you would not notice ! In a few days he will say " I have no idea where it is cause you had it last".

Did I say he knew how to use it? He has been known to do the whole carpet without the brush on. He is a little darling though.
I've just had a nap in the chair, he's having one in the bath. Tomorrow the little love is off to daughter's to mind Sproglet while she dolls herself up for the big (non) event. He's going so I can cook sausage rolls and chop stuff up and possibly stay clean long enough to reach the church without looking like a bag lady..
Told daughter to get her baptised last year before she knew what was happening.!! Child is coming on 2, is very vocal, does not know how to sit still and the longest she has lasted inside church during service is less than 1 minute. My mate looked at me a bit funny when I suggested earplugs for the adults and a straightjacket for sproglet. The priest was wincing at the thought the other day. mind you he's a little darling too and daughter owes him big time.

Lol, Corgi.
Ah no. Wouldn't get away with that one. I'd already checked under his van and in the bin before i rang to check on the whereabouts of missing pipe. After all we've been married over 20 years.
Henry has been safely re-assembled.

Dear Guardpig, I have always wanted to say how lovely it is to read the way you speak so fondly of your OH I also adore your sense of humour too, you make me smile, often.
Good luck for tomorrow, we'll have piccies later I assume.

Well it went fine, sort of. Really must tell the priest that the very loud "minging" that rang round the church was Sproglet's demand for some more singing instead of the endless talking. Luckily she loves music and the priest and one of the nuns have very good voices. It's the first time she has been made to last until the singing starts. Oh boy did she scream, drew in breath at first splash, held breath through second and third and then let rip. Apparently it was his loudest baptism yet!.
Picture for you but will try and remove later on. You don't take pictures of this one unless she's asleep, one just points, clicks and hope she hasn't moved.

What a sweetie!
And really LOL'd at both the Henry hoover debacle and the 'minging' in church

Ah well, it was funny after the first hymn when this delicate little flower piped up with "more" .

She looks adorable guardpig

Well Guardpig, she looks to me like a young lady of some character - now you wouldn't want a boring sproglet/granddaughter - now would you? Or would you? lol. All little children behave like that in church, I feel like that some Sundays,

We took our grandaughter Onions to my nieces wedding last week.... and she spent most of the service saying HIYA!!!! to everyone..... it's her favourite word!
