If you love children and dogs then you MUST watch this (hopefully the link will work for you). It is about a downs syndrome boy in Brazil who is afraid of dogs. No it didn't make me shed a tear. It looked to me like the child wanted the dog to stop pawing at it. Perhaps I missed something.

I agree Maggie. The child kept moving away so that the dog couldn't paw him.

Watched it a few times....

The child does initially approach the dog .....and in reality does not really attempt to get away from the dog ....there is an interaction between the two. The dog is actually being very gentle and the pawing action is not aggressive ...just the dog communicating with the child.

Had the child been afraid or really unhappy their distress would have been evident .....the child does eventually cuddle in to the dog.

In reality it is just a short snapshot in time.....but it would be nice to think that dog did help the child if it had an aversion to dogs ....it was a very gentle animal.
