Little bars of soap!

I have put this on the Sewing thread but thought I might catch more eyes with a fresh thread.:-)

I am on the scrounge!  You know Dairy & I make kits to go out to the girls in Africa & other places. Well they have asked us to pop a little 'hotel' size soap in each kit now. Have any of you got some lying around you have gathered on your travels you could let me have. Happy to pay postage. I have managed to get quite a few in the charity shops but will need quite a lot more. I don't go on hotel holidays these days.:-)

Let's hope Weymouth doesn't have a tsunami before you distribute all these soaps Maggie or the whole of the south of England will be engulfed by bubbles!!!:^O

I have just sent 18 complete kits off by courier to the people who are taking the next lot out. I think they want 100 to go to Uganda. Dairy has sent a load too.:-)

Maggie, what sort of fabrics could you use, if any?

Just thinking, if there is weight spare when I pack soaps for the courier I could raid my stash if there is anything in here likely to be suitable.

Got ingredients ordered, so will hopefully be able to do them next week

Lovely Elph. The shields & liners are made from flannelette, like pyjama fabric.:-)

Forgot to say that they need to be bright colours because of staining but I am going on a dyeing day in June so I can dye them.:-D

What colour and what type of dye do I get for the washing machine?

I haven't got her yet. I am meeting Jackie for lunch & the 'hand over'.:-) Dylon make a machine dye that is good. Deep blue might be nice.:-)
