Hello everyone, I found my way back! 

I kind of like the cat smileys but the others are awful, their faces aren't round

and they have to be I think!

Also, it all seems to take up so much space, I mean if there's a long post it takes

up about three times as much space as before.  What a waste of, well, internetland!

I'm getting used to it now.  There are only two things that I don't like and hope will change in time (apart from the smilies, but they're not important and the fact that I subscribed to posts but now I'm inundated with every post on every thread and I can't unsubscribe again) but the two main things are, not going to the last post, nor even the last page and not having the orange dots, so you know it there are any new posts or not!!

Apart from that, it serves it's purpose.

To get your saved smileys to work you need to start a "reply" - you don't need to post it -

Then use "add image" to get all your smileys showing - this puts them in your "gallery", then you can use "add image" and pick them out from your gallery whenever you want to use them.  Only trouble with this of course is if you post photos they will be added to the gallery too and push the smileys down the stack.  I haven't found a way of editing the gallery, it just adds things.

The trouble with the new smileys is that their eyes are too far apart - makes them look like caterpillars.

I logged onto the boards the minute they had closed and got a shock! Have been checking back every day, wondering how long it would take....
Anyway, I'm on my ipad and it looks so weird. But as with the previous changes ...... It will just take getting used to!
