Is this board very "clique"?

Not sure exactly what you mean............please explain.

As far as I am aware this board is frequented mainly by ladies who want to chat and discuss. Some people use it every day, some dont. It is a fun place to be and chat, in my opinion. I dont know anyone personally.

of course its clique.  its populated by  humans

its the way the world works

we can be friendly, we can also be standoffish if we think the poster is trying too hard , causing bother,  advertising kitchens

you can't judge a poster on a few posts, 

its like moving to an old village and you are the 'incomer' for at least 30 yrs

people either  fit in or try another board,  the problem with that the last 5 yrs is that the bods at ebay hq have reduced forums by about  half

No I don't think it's clique.

Yes there are groups of peeps who speak to each other more than others but they also join in with other posts and are mostly friendly and helpful.

I post quite often but not on every single thread that appears as sometimes I have no view or nothing extra to add.

Was scary when I first joined in and does take time to build up a group of freiends but as long as you keep posting the more we get to know you .

I haven't been here very long but I have found everyone very friendly and welcoming, I too don't post on everything either because it isn't my interest or I haven't anything to say, I tend not to get involved in anything too deep, because I pop in and out at various times and it is easy to loose the thread to excuse the pun.  I love the chatty threads, and the word thread over on RT.  Some threads have been going for years and everyone has known each other for a long time and sometimes you don't like to intrude on what can seem like private conversations. I think you can worry too much about joining in,

Stick with it. Just dip your toe in or maybe start another thread,  Top ten likes or dislikes are usually quite good to get a conversation going or tell us about your interest. Crafting, pets, holidays oh and Other halves usually get a good response. Christmas is coming and funny Christmas stories? Got a pet hate it doesn't have to be female based absolutely anything goes. Maybe post on the teatime thread thats a good place to start.

Most of us don't know each other personally or even know real names.  We have fun, share news and sympathy.

Give us a go we are all different, some of us are on here all the time and  some just pop in when something takes their fancy.

I often look at how many views a topic has had and am surprised by how few replies it gets. If I can contribute, then I do. But I also appreciate the "regulars" who comment on my posts and offer advice etc. and a shoulder when needed.

I never have anything really worthwhile to say but I just keep popping in when I smell choklit......occasionally add my two penneth but it takes me sooooo long to type a reply that the conversation can have moved on.........

Just jump in.....keep popping up and gradually you'll become part of the furniture,or like me......the strange smell that keeps appearing and getting the dog blamed.....

I've met some lovely people on here, I have even met one gorjus laydee...and she makes fabby egg sarnies too.
