I am not the biggest fan of chocolate but at christmas I do treat myself to the Advocaat Liquors (in dark chocolate) from Lidl. That is about the height of luxury to me but do buy a special box of biscuits for visitors and the obligatory bowl of mixed nuts.

Nothing wrong with treats Rose, it would be a boring old life without them.

You go ahead and treat yourself Rose. I'd do exactly the same under the circumstances.

My problem is I do it all year round, so it's not really a treat at Christmas!! The only thing I ration myself with is brandy. I wait for a special occasion for that.
Mondays are special because they're the only day that starts with M.
Tuesday is special because it follows Monday (and those are special)
Wednesdays are special.......................................
Having said that, I don't usually eat cake, biscuits, sweets, chocolates, pie, puddings, so I don't eat anything extra at Christmas.

No it's difficult to eat when ya passed out under the table CG.......

Oh.
Well since I do the shopping ............................................
I always buy a few spare boxes of choccies for the sudden present need but only ones I like, I am the only serious nut eater, I love Bombay mix, I love mint crumbles(so does daughter but this lot are well hidden). So yes I buy treats for myself alongside the ones everybody else gets. After all I do the shopping.

OH has time to waste on a Tuesday while he waits to pick Son so I give him a list of shopping from the nearby coop. usually all the stuff thats on offer.. I MAY have put a pancetta topped baking camerbert on todays list... and I have a feeling its not going to be big enough to share....

Nothing wrong with treating yourself Rose, why shouldn't you?
I love Christmas pudding and nobody else does much so I buy a little teeny
one. I'm not really supposed to eat them, but a little teeny one won't hurt once
a year. I also love chocolate brazils (plain ones), but again if I have them I
eke them out - one or two every so often.
To be honest the stuff I like most is the stuff I normally have, same with all of
us, and when we have the chance to eat different stuff at Christmas, we really
just want what we usually have!

What do you treat yourself to Chicken Grandma???,,what do you like a bit of?????. STOP SNIGGERING YOU OTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Are you a drinker?,chocaholic,, pampering queen?, savoury?,,,or sweet???. Your sweet enough my lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
TELL ALL???. I have to start finding out about people on here???
Are you a girly or a tomboy???. Im a bit of both really.

I suppose the only thing that I ration myself with is the brandy because I know I mustn't get into the habit of drinking that every day!!
I don't think there's anything else to be honest. I'm a girl of simple tastes so don't 'long' for anything. I cut out chocolate about three months ago and it's still all in the drawer, I don't miss it at all!

I missed the last question...............................I was a tomboy as a child but I don't think I was 'girly' as a teenager or older. I was too down to earth with being a housewife and mother to be girly. I was more into washing nappies and wallpapering!!

I have just set up a rescue center for unwanted and abandoned choklit.....
Please send it to me and I'll see that it is 're-homed' quickly...
Remember choklit is for Christmas not for life....
