We had bacon and eggs for tea tonight and very nice they were too. For those of you who are interested, for them that aren't dont bother looking.

To my great surprise, it tasted OK - once I'd added a bit of coarse ground black pepper anyway - despite being a visual mess.  The best comparison I can make is it tasted like French Onion Soup with whole sausages in it.
