OH at Bowls every evening.....I have a high pressured and stressful work-life ....should I go and support him ? I am shattered when I get home LOL

I'd say no, not if you don't want to. If it was some big competition or something, yes, but otherwise, surely, he goes just because he enjoys it. You should stay at home and relax or do something you want to do. 🙂

Me too! And no, I don't go and watch. After all, he doesn't watch me knit or read. I went once and decided there and then that I'd have more fun at the dentists. 😮
I've always been happy with my own company (fortunately), so although I love him to bits, I enjoy my "me" time while he's out and now that he's just retired (last week) I'm encouraging him to go in the afternoons too. ]:)

i'd only go if i wanted to give him a game and beat the pants off him 🙂
i understand it can be a vicious game when you want it to be
we get a few people in town for comp and i did speak to a couple of old ladies in the winter when their hubbies were at Hopton for the week plaaying

If its an important game then I would agree and go, if its just a friendly thats different. Its difficult if you do not understand the game but worth learning.
I had 20 years of this but enjoyed it, we had a massive circle of friends and still keep in touch with some. I also played but just locally, enjoyed it and a great social life. We both fitted it in with working quite well.
