How do I add a photo to my post?

Hello all, I wanted to put a picture on here but it won't give me the option.  Any help most appreciated!

sign in and press the reply button (not quick reply) then when you are ready click on the insert/edit image button (shown circled in red below)

Oh I never noticed that myself; I always used the "attachments" option below instead!

Let's try a test.  If you can see a picture with this, it worked.  If you can't, it didn't!

I don't have the attachments bar at the bottom either, that's why I'm stuck.

Nope

It will let me on any community posts, but when I go to select a board FHG isn't there.  If I go directly to FHG (like now), the option to add a picture has gone.  Confused now.

what are you posting on?

laptop,  computer?  tablet?  mobile phone?

are the photos on the exact machine you are using?

or are you tring to link from somewhere?

Hi Towery,

I want to put a picture like Zebedee there.

I'm on a desktop computer, and the photo is stored on it.

It's just a bit odd that if I wanted to put a pic on one of the other boards I can, I just can't on this one!

which browser are you using?

and is it up to date?

I'm using an up-to-date version of Chrome, but have also tried Outlook with same result.

May just resign myself to not being able to post pics!

Chrome doesn't work with pics for me , I use firefox

what can you see when you press  Reply?

i get lots of little oblongs, but when i hover tthey tell me what buttons they are

What I see when I click "Reply"using Pale Moon (same software as Firefox but without all the dross):-

I don't see the HTML tab, nor the picture tab that should be there.

Can't seem to do a screenshot now either!

Strangely all the tabs are there when I log in with my other account.  Any ideas?

Cee-dee, on that screenshot the one which looks like mountains, 9th from the left, is the image insert.

Ignore me, it's Penguin who can't see it isn't it?  D'oh....
