Daughter took us to the seaside for a couple of hours.  I took a tuna roll for him and daughter and I and the grandchildren had fish and chips.

We sat in the car with them and there was a bird (I think it was a starling) sat on the wing mirror and ate bread from daughters hand.

ooh that sounds lovely CG, starlings are quite rare nowadays, believe it or not, there used to be millions of them.

OH had pasta with chicken, I've been out with my friend and we had jacket spuds as big as a clog!!! with lots of lovely cheese and a side salad.

we were very good and didn't have any cake...we just bought plants instead!!!

I couldn't be bothered to cook so I just had a large portion of beetroot ( home boiled from raw ) with grated mild cheddar cheese.

It might have been a starling, I don't really know.

Here he is.

When we had our bird table, we used to get an awful lot of starlings.  Must admit though, I havent seen any for ages.

Starlings come in from abroad there are only a few that live here all year round, during the summer months they are joined by foreign ones,  We have loads here in the summer, fighting over food.

Thanks for doing the thread Chris I couldn't get in last night.
