I like her singing it with Andrea Bocelli. I went on a med cruie for my 60th & they played it over the ships speakers as we sailed out of Venice. It made my eyes leak a bit!

Re: How about songs you LIKE?

I particularly like the version I posted although I've watched many other versions.

Have you noticed that the "descriptive stuff" is missing from the link I posted? There was a load of it and I tried a few ways to delete it before I spotted an "X", I clicked that and ***BINGO*** it was gone.

Re: How about songs you LIKE?

Just trying something. When I posted the link, below the "Reply" box was the "descriptive stuff" and on the top right corner was an "X", I clicked that and the descriptive stuff was gone.

Re: How about songs you LIKE?

Good CeeDee, but I still prefer Dylan.

Don Gibson has to get a vote because he wrote 'I Can't Stop Loving You' and other magical songs.  These songs, played on radio all over the US, were part of what became rock 'n roll - they are what Elvis first sang, along with gospel.  His producer in Nashville was one Chet Atkins.

CD, you couldn't, in your spare time, find and post Mark Knopfler and Chet Atkins singing Poor Boy Blues.  I have it on  play almost daily, a wee gem.  Thanks in advance.

Re: How about songs you LIKE?

Oooooooooh thank you Cee Dee - did you know I went down to London to see 'Sunny Afternoon' the musical - well, when they played this everybody in this place was on their feet singing, such a fantastic song, and a fantastic sight and sound.

Thank you too for Knopfler and Chet Atkins, did not see it until now, a wee gem.  He was some man, Chet.
