My goodness it is windy tonight and heavy rain, Cornwall is getting it much worse by the sounds of it, power off and falling trees, Possible red flood warning for Dorset coast for tomorrow morning, take care Patch.

Hope everyone is O K, special greetings to those poor beggers who have snow & are without essentials, ten days before lambing starts, it doesn't bode well for ewes or shepherds, this wet weather is bad enough, but please don't wish snow on us as well.

Awful night last night hardly slept at all, we had thunder and the wind and rain against the windows was awful, I am soooo pleased we had the new windows last year, goodness only knows what it would have been like with the old ones.

Patch I saw the pictures of the waves against chesil on the tv., awesome, hope everyone is ok

 My friends BIL used to have a small holding many years ago , once went when they had a few lambs ,  very lovable creatures 🙂

Its been very windy here overnight , still raining now not great go karting weather 😞

I didn't sleep much as it was worryingly noisy. Not been out to inspect for damage yet as I am still in my 'jamas. Still blowing a gale but not as gusty as last night. The sun is trying to peek through the clouds.

Thankee fellow Midlander! We got away fairly lightly compared to some, but when I was doing a late night check around the farm last night I heard a tree go down. I've never moved so fast I even beat the dogs back to the house.lol. Sam.

Ah Rose! It's not as romantic as you think, it's dirty , smelly& tiring but I enjoy it, it's a great tester for moisturisers & chapped lips at the moment, but with all the walking etc it's great for the figure, let's hope the weather improves for everyone so we can get back into the shorts & summer tops.lol.

Ahhhh bless you, i can imagine that yes it must be hard work!. I admire you though. Where animals are concerned i dont mind getting dirty and mucky and lambs are ADORABLE.

My car is covered in mud & ?muck as ive just been down to the farm nearby , they run a cattery so Smudge is going there for his hols No  sheep there just cats , chickens &   huge german shepherds that folllowed me around nudging my hand for a fuss

It looks fine. Strangely the strongest winds were hitting the front but the facia was from the back. I had been hearing banging in the back bedroom for a while so I expect it was loose.

Glad your roof is okay ....I've lost a bit of chimney by the looks of it,I'll get next door to check it out when it calms down a bit...I'm going round with a bit of their shed so I'll ask then...

It's still a bit blustery but it's not as bad as it was this morning.  It's cold but at least it's stopped raining now.
