My ginger cat went out for a wee this morning and has returned absolutely
covered in oil. He doesn't appear injured, he was his usual self when he
came in, hungry, offering each paw for a handshake, purring and nuzzling
himself around me.
I'm frightened he will become ill from licking off the oil though, I'm trying to
get hold of vet who aren't open yet.
I don't want to use detergent on him as he might get ill from that too.
Honestly, he looks like a tortoishell cat instead of a ginger one, I've no
idea what he's been doing!
Has anyone got any brilliant ideas please?

I'll tell you what, he smells gorgeous! Instead of smelling of, well, cat, he smells
of fairy liquid and is all soft and furry, well more so than usual!
I've had a mooch about but can't see anything obviously oily that he may have got
involved in. Bless him.

He's named after Fistral Beach in Newquay, Rose. One of our favourite places.
He's the same colour as the sand there!

Ahh, poor pussycat! I think he'd quite like to go to the local chinese but not as
part of the menu!! He's quite partial to a bit of chinese, given half the chance!
