I have had a lovely day - went out for lunch with OH & some friends - to a pub by a river.  it wasn't warm enough to sit outside .. .. surprising for my birthday.  It was windy & grey; had a lovely meal though.  

Then OH & I went to a garden centre - how middle-aged is that??!!  We bought lots of herb plants, & some indoor plants too.  One large exotic flowering one - let's see how long I can keep it thriving!! 😄

Home for a cuppa, then I went to my swim 'training' which I usually do on a Monday

A lovely beginning to my birthday, which I will prolong for as many days/weeks as possible B-)
