Today is the first day for what seems like months that it hasn't been overcast, damp,
showery, pissing down, torrential downpour, thunderstorm - you get the picture - doing anything
that involves making stuff wet!!
The sun is shining and it's lovely and blowy.
I've got heaps of washing and my washing machine's broken!
Oh well, it's the thought that counts.
Washing kitchen floor instead, "assisted" by a kitten!

It is certainly a beautiful day isn't it. A little blowy but otherwise just like spring! My washing machine isn't broken.......................but I have no washing to do!

Lucky you, it is humping down here and blowing a gale it is really dark too.

**packs up laundry and sends it down**

LOL, I we need to swap places CG!
Big bike indeed! No more washing please, I've got all ours and eldest's too! A bloke is
coming to mend it (well hopefully) this afternoon. If not I'll have to have a new one, it's
12 years old now.
When we got this one, it replaced another that the same repair man had put in - we've used
him for years and years. The old one was a washer/dryer and I asked him if he had one
the same as we'd been pleased with it. He duly delivered and plumbed in a nice new one
which I was very pleased with, although couldn't quite pinpoint what was different about it.
That was until a good couple of months later when I went to tumble-dry some stuff and
realised the new machine didn't have a tumble dryer! The man was very apologetic as
he hadn't realised the old one did!

I actually just stepped outside!!! I went to look at the spring flowers. There are some snowdrops, some crocuses and loads of primulas. The rose has finally lost it's last bloom.

Well I don't think that we'd get any washing dried here. In fact, it would end up being wetter 'cos it's pouring down and it is blowing a right old gale at the moment. We had ice as well this morning. A right old mixture.

I think if I put any washing out it would be drying in Scotland now its so windy it would have blown away. Hasn't stopped raining for days here, showers we were told this morning hah one long bloomin shower that lasts 3 days. I am inside, crafting, house work, cooking and later ironing, and NO I don't want anymore, I hate ironing. OH has sorted out garage, loads of boxes of stuff for charity shop and loads for the dump, it has been there weeks and has finally gone now, it is looking good in there now, he was going fishing but decided against it so he has been making himself busy. Every now and then I hear things like, 'where did that come from' and ' I forgot I had that'. Men eh.

We've got wet and windy weather forecast for the next few days. So long as it doesn't freeze, that'll be fine.

There you go ed, every cloud has a silver lining. If it hadn't been raining your garage wouldn't be sorted now, would it!!

So true CG, you could almost fit a car in there now, well a very small car anyway.
