Thanks Books for remembering...........have to admit that I have just come back from my friends and the penny has just dropped that tomorrow I shall once again become part of the working community.
Made redundant five years ago I have had a few temp jobs but no full time 9-5 job. The stomach is now churning as I know how hard I have tried, and failed to become part of the human race again LOL.
I shall be having an early (ish) night and hope I can get a good sleep.
I will try and let you know how I get on but am going to take some time to get back into a regular routine regarding cooking tea and getting online etc.
Once I get the first week over with I shall be fine.

Had an OK first day..............always difficult getting used to new office procedures but the work I have to type is sooooooooooooooo boring and by 3pm I was flagging because there was nothing to tax the brain. Also had an extremely busy lunch time sorting out the signing off the JSA, speaking to the council about housing benefit..........got the bl**dy tax credits to deal with tomorrow who are a department that actually dont want you to contact them....often waiting 30 mins hanging on the line. I just hope that the Job Centre are right in saying that financially I WILL be better off....!!!!
Will keep you laydees posted but my posting time on the boards will now be very limited.

Hiya Tintin lovely to hear from you, it's always difficult when you start a new job to get settled I am sure this time next week you will be, I was a receptionist for a doctors a few years back and whilst I loved the reception bit I hated the typing as it was usually boring and had impossible words and doctors writing to deal with. After that I went to a hotel as a p.a. and I loved that, I hate being bored in a job good job in the job I do now.
Can't the Job Centre sort out the money side of things internally, I don't know how it works.
