Re: GCSE Results

Brynteg....well done to your daughter. I have my son's results in front of me (had to cycle 2 miles each way to school to collect them)  but as he is away until the weekend they have to stay locked inside the brown envelope....I cant say I am not tempted to open the envelope but my eagle eyed son would soon notice.

I will end up sitting on my hands until the weekend LOL.

Re: GCSE Results

Well done to your daughter! My son is awaiting one result - he's only year 9 and had to choose a subject to do a 1 year course in.

He chose Spanish, which he had no experience of, so not expecting a top grade.

(The assessments started 6 weeks into the course!)

The email has not yet arrived.........

Re: GCSE Results

My son got a B in Spanish 🙂

We expected it as his assessments were AABC and I am sure had he put more than the absolute minimum effort in he could have done better. But we are happy with that as he was new to the school/area so it was a difficult few months for him.

Next year he will do Maths and the following year 10 more  ))eek!((

Re: GCSE Results

Oops I should have put that he'll be doing 11 the final year - he's doing 13 altogether.

Hope everyone has got the results they were expecting xx
