Fridays, fullsome, fanciable fodder

Tonight we are having Liver and Onions, cooked in the cook pot, wonderful smell wafting around the house.  Son has gone to work in disgust, muttering something about bloomin liver for tea.  I have done him something different, but I don't normally.

Here you are. I made it in the slow cooker but it'll work just as well in an oven
